Description: This two-day, four-hour course will help participants develop successful test-taking strategies for correctly answering examination questions and will review material in each of the content areas on the examination. Includes six-month access to a digital version of the NASW-IL–proprietary manual which includes selected readings and handouts designed to complement the lecture.

Hard Copy NASW-IL Licensure Review Course Reader, 9.0 Edition: For an additional $25.00, registrants may select to receive a printed, bound copy of the Course Reader. This includes all of the same articles in the digital NASW-IL Licensure Review Course Reader, 9.0 Edition, but in a printed format for those who prefer to read offline.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no refund policy for participants who, after taking the test, fail to reach the passing requirement. While our review course has been highly regarded in the state for over fifteen years, no review course can replace three to four years of college education in eight hours. What our review course does do is prepare you for taking the LSW/LCSW test with test-taking assistance, a review of testing topics, case studies, and additional reading material. Think of it as a structured class to help review what you know and identify what you need to work on before you sit for the test.

CANCELLATION POLICY (Updated 04/09/2020):
While we understand that emergencies do occur, once a participant has been registered and is expected to attend a course, the NASW-Illinois Chapter has already factored that person’s attendance into costs already absorbed by the chapter. Therefore, our cancellation policy for this continuing education offerings is as follows:
• Cancellations received more than two (2) weeks from the course date may request to reschedule for a future date of the same course for a rescheduling fee of $20.00 OR request a refund MINUS 50% of the course fee. If another date for the same training isn’t currently scheduled, you may request a refund MINUS 50% of the course fee.
• Cancellations received within two (2) weeks of the course date are eligible ONLY for requesting to reschedule for a future date of the same course for a rescheduling fee of $20.00. There is no refund for cancellations received within two weeks of the course date.

Any no show for a course without prior cancellation notification will not be eligible for a refund nor the option to attend a future course at the absorbed cost.

CE QUALIFICATIONS: All courses offered through the NASW-Illinois Chapter meet the continuing education qualifications for LSWs, LCSWs, LPCs, LCPCs, LMFTs, RNs, LPNs, APNs, LCPs, and PELs (formerly Type 73) licensed in Illinois as required by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
